Oblivion: Wizard’s Tower
Well, the third Oblivion plugin came out the other day. For now, I’m skipping this one. It doesn’t really seem to offer much. For the “low” price of $1.99, you get a Wizard Tower. It has an alchemy lab that buffs your alchemy skill in case you didn’t want to actually earn those skill points. It also has spell/enchanting altars in case you didn’t want to use the ones in the Mage University. It also has portals to each mage guild location so if you travel to your tower you can take a portal to a mage guild…. instead of just using the fast travel on the map. The only actual additional thing that isn’t already in the game is a special altar where you can bring salts which will summon an atronach. I suppose you can summon this thing and then walk to your next quest. I dunno. It doesn’t sound like much to me.

I can’t get the damn Wizard Tower to work!
I got it installed, and after a bit of exploring I even found it in the mountains, but no quest component! I’m very very confused, and so is Bethesda. I even uninstalled the entire thing and reinstalled it from the ground up.
It looks really cool from the outside, now if I could only get a key…

So a quest wasn’t given to you as soon as you started the game after installing this plugin? When I got The Orrery plugin, I got a quest in the form of a note as soon as I resumed the game.
