Pure Digital Thought

No, I didn’t disappear off the face of the earth. I haven’t died of starvation from sitting in from of my new DLP…… hell, that would be impossible. After all, starvation is nothing a good beer or two and some pizza couldn’t help out with.

Sigh….. I’ve been busy doing this at night. I can’t play Guild Wars, WoW or mess with my blog until I get this done. I’ve been trying to get it out of the way so that I don’t put it off much longer. Besides, you guys wouldn’t want me to have a warrant out for my arrest and then get sent to jail. That would be dumb.

Speaking of dumb things, here’s a little conversation between me, the officer, and Eric.

Officer: “Here’s the ticket. On the bottom is the due to for setting your court appearance or for paying the ticket.”

Me: “Um, okay.”

Eric: “Yeah, you need to make sure you get that taken care of. I didn’t and I had a warrant out for my arrest.”

Now, I just looked at Eric with one of the biggest “DUMBASS” looks I could give him. You friend has just been pulled over. Do you REALLY want to give the cop a reason to ask you to step out of the car and then check your background? Sigh. It was funny later but since I know Eric well there was a brief moment where I thought, “Please God, Please tell me that Eric STILL doesn’t have that warrant.” After all, this is from the guy who every year has to pay the penalty on his state inspection for being 3 months late.
